Our cutting-edge technology revolutionizes data center cooling, offering enhanced energy efficiency and reduced operational costs. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Taiwan. This individual will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence by engaging with Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) server manufacturers and promoting the adoption of our immersion cooling solutions. About The Role And The CandidateAs the Business Development Manager for Taiwan, you will be responsible for driving business growth and establishing strategic partnerships with ODM server manufacturers. Your primary objective will be to convince these manufacturers to incorporate Submer's immersion cooling systems into their server designs, ensuring our technology becomes an integral part of the solutions they offer to their partners and end users. You will be an instrumental force in expanding Submer's footprint in the Taiwanese market. Responsabilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy targeted towards ODM server manufacturers in Taiwan.
- Identify and prospect potential ODM partners, establish contact, and build strong relationships to promote Submer's immersion cooling technology.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify key industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities in order to effectively position Submer's solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales to develop customized proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of ODM manufacturers.
- Present and articulate the unique value proposition of Submer's immersion cooling technology to key decision-makers within the ODM server manufacturing companies.
- Work closely with ODM partners to facilitate the integration of Submer's technology into their server designs, ensuring a seamless adoption process.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with ODM partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions for both parties.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the senior management team on market trends, business development activities, and progress towards sales targets.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent Submer and promote our immersion cooling solutions.
- Stay up to date with advancements in data center technologies, industry standards, and emerging trends to continually enhance knowledge and expertise in the field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the IT hardware or data center industry.
- Strong knowledge of ODM server manufacturing processes and the server market landscape in Taiwan.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese. Additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Taiwan and occasionally internationally.
