What would you be doing as a HR Generalist?
Spotahome is seeking an HR Generalist to join our people team in our cool Madrid headquarters. Our main mission is to create a happy and healthy work environment for our spotters and new joiners to thrive and enjoy what they do.
You will be required to acquire new talent, provide orientation and ensure employees’ concerns are addressed. Some of the functions you will develop include:
Support the People function of the HR team with day to day tasks
Act as a point of contact for employees and provide support for various subjects such as leaves, compensations, and resolve problems
Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms and ensure we have all our files up to date
Prepare HR-related reports as needed (like training organisations by department).
Participate in a variety of HR projects in the company such as Training, Recruitment and Culture projects
Develop and implement new People policies and programs to continue improving the experience of working at our Company
Participate in organising company events and career days.
Ensure the employee’s on-boarding process is completed and support the employee life cycle within Spotahome
Prepare employment contracts, new hire documentation and traineeship agreements
Acquire the standard knowledge of Personnel Administration / Employee Relations matters manage by the team
Support the payroll process making sure when needed that all information is submitted and communicated to Payroll Department on a timely manner
What are we looking for?
Previous experience of 2+ years in similar position
Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field.
Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken (C1 or equivalent).
A positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
Energetic, self-motivated and an initiative taker.
Highly organised and detail-oriented.
Eager to learn and results-oriented. You have a resourceful and curious nature and are not afraid of challenges. You like to interact with other people.
Able to multitask and handle multiple priorities at once, and is flexible to ever-changing processes.
