Convelio is a licensed freight forwarding startup evolving at the intersection of Tech, Logistics and the Art World. The startup specialises in the global shipping of high-end goods: paintings, sculptures, basically any valuable or bulky merchandise.
We've developed our own proprietary algorithm to offer competitive real-time shipping quotes and an end-to-end logistics service to the art market. Our mission is to become a tech-driven company in a traditional industry, and therefore make the shipping of bulky and valuable items as easy as possible by providing an online and seamless experience.
We currently serve a wide range of customers from art galleries, antique dealers, auction houses, online platforms to interior designers.
With 180+ colleagues scattered across Paris & London and now New York as well, Convelio has a strong start-up & international culture. We thrive in solving complex logistics issues for our clients, enabling both sellers and buyers in the art market. We are backed by proven technology, prominent VC’s, and boast a global network and the resources (€30 million Series B funding in March 2022) to seize the market opportunity

🎩 Your Role
As an Account Manager at Convelio in the Sales department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of art logistics. With your unique skill set and passion for innovation, you will contribute to our mission of revolutionizing the industry.
You will be the voice and the face of our company in the eyes of our converted clients and be the one to be praised for when we beat new records of customer retention and penetration.

More than 180 people in all departments from all over the world to work with you!
You will work inside our Sales Department of 15 people, in the Account Management team, and report to our Account Management Team Lead with 2 other experienced colleagues to support you.
✏️ What you'll do
• Identify new growth opportunities within an existing customer portfolio (upsells, customer reactivation, etc.), enhance the Convelio experience for our customers through shared feedback and cross-departmental initiatives, and participate in user research interviews to improve our understanding of product needs.
• Monitor key portfolio KPIs (NPS, revenue, evolution of spend segments) to refine priorities.
• Promote Convelio's value proposition to generate curiosity and interest, and organise demonstrations and meetings with customers.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our local market, continuously improving the content needed to execute retention efforts (pitches, email templates, scripts, tools) and seek out new retention and referral opportunities.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at key moments in their lives, position yourself as a "trusted advisor" and establish long-term professional relationships with customers (through regular calls, meetings and communications) as well as participating in their onboarding.

🧑‍🎨 Your profile

  • At Convelio, we value diversity and believe in giving opportunities to talented individuals from a variety of backgrounds. We do not want to limit the potential of exceptional candidates by imposing a long list of requirements. However, to succeed in this role, you should possess the following attributes:
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in Sales
  • Proven track record when it comes to upselling, client re-activation and cross-selling
  • A dynamic, curious, ambitious and bold personality
  • You will need to be fluent in French and English
  • Any experience in the Art and related industries will be a plus

  • Video or Onsite interview with our Account Management Team Lead (1h)
  • Video or Onsite interview and debrief of a case study you'd have take at home, with a future team member (1h)
  • Video or Onsite interview with our Head of Sales (30 minutes)
